This is a super simple recipe that can complement almost any dish while still bringing plenty of fats to the table. Heck, you can even eat this as a lunch time salad if you’d like and feel full for hours afterward! This coleslaw has traditional flavors but the lemon juice pushes it over the edge.
You can always twist it up by adding your own flavor profile to this. Sesame oil and red pepper flakes, peanut butter and lime juice, give it a try and see what you like!

The Preparation
- 1/4 large green cabbage
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon paprika
- salt, to taste
The Execution
1. Chop the cabbage lengthwise to create even strands. Add these to a bowl.
