Breakfast, as they say, is the most important meal of the day. Start the day the right way with this protein-packed egg, turkey bacon, and avocado bowl. No more hitting the snooze button—you’ll want to jump out of bed for this one!

Egg, Turkey, Bacon, and Avocado Bowl Second

Each bowl contains scrambled eggs, slices of tasty turkey bacon, and avocado. The eggs are a great source of protein and essential amino acids, the turkey bacon is protein-packed and lower in fat than pork bacon, and the avocados provide you with a large dose of healthy fats, which are packed full of omega-3 fatty acids. 

We also love how this recipe can easily be adjusted to suit your tastes. For example, you could add some vegetables like spinach to the scrambled eggs or swap the turkey bacon for another keto-friendly protein source. 

These bowls can be completely prepped the night before and heated up in the morning—meaning they not only taste great but they’re really convenient. This recipe makes two bowls. If you want to make more bowls or less, you can easily adjust the recipe to suit your needs. Although they are packed full of breakfast favorites, they also make great lunches and snacks to have during the day.

Yields 2 servings of Keto Egg, Turkey Bacon, and Avocado Bowl

The Preparation

  • 3 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon heavy cream
  • 3 slices turkey bacon
  • 1/4 medium avocado
  • salt and pepper, to taste

The Execution

1. Measure out and prepare all of the ingredients. Cut the avocado into slices.

2. Crack the eggs in a bowl. Whisk the eggs together.

3. In a frying pan over medium heat, add the eggs. Cook them for about 4 – 5 minutes or until the eggs are scrambled to your liking.

4. Transfer the scrambled eggs to a bowl.

5. Fry the turkey bacon to your liking.

6. Transfer the turkey bacon and avocado slices to your bowl. Season with salt and pepper, serve, and enjoy!
