Blackberry Chocolate Shake

Keto Breakfast Recipes > Keto Breakfast Recipes

You know those chocolate covered berries you find in those specialty candy stores, or the ones that they serve up to you when you go out for a romantic date at a fondue joint? This is a smoothie that will bring memories back to you with a cooling and refreshing vibe running through it.

We all need a break from the ordinary, piping hot ketoproof coffee every once in a while (especially with the weather lately in Florida). Instead of getting your MCT Oil in Ketoproof Coffee, why not change it up a little and grab some MCTs from a smoothie?

You can use almond milk or any other type of milk (even heavy cream if you want), but I prefer coconut milk. It’s slightly thick, it’s delicious, and it’s just the perfect consistency for the final shake. You can drink it for breakfast, or it can be used as a mid-morning snack, after work/school relaxation shake, or a pre-workout supplement.

So what’s your favorite shake to make? Let us know in the comments below!

Yields 1 Serving of Blackberry Chocolate Shake

The Preparation

  • 7 large ice cubes
  • 1 cup unsweetened carton coconut milk

  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened dark cocoa powder
  • 12 drops liquid stevia
  • 1/4 teaspoon xanthan gum
  • 2 tablespoons mct oil

The Execution

1. Add 7 ice cubes to your blender. I’m using a Ninja Blender with the Mini Ninja attachment.
