Ingredients
  

90-Second Mug Bread

  • 2 tablespoon almond flour
  • 2 tablespoon coconut flour
  • 1 tablespoon allulose
  • 1 ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • salt pinch
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 large egg
  • 2 tablespoon heavy cream

French Toast Batter

  • 2 large egg
  • 2 tablespoon heavy cream
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • salt pinch
  • 2 tablespoon heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoon low-carb maple syrup to serve

Instructions
 

  • Gather and prep all ingredients.
  • In a mug or microwave-safe bowl, add the dry ingredients of the mug bread. Stir to combine the almond flour, coconut flour, allulose, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
  • Next, add the wet ingredients of the mug bread. Stir the butter, eggs, and heavy cream in. Mix well and try to get a smooth mixture.
  • Microwave on high for 90-120 seconds. You want the bread to be just set in the middle. If the bread is not done, microwave in 15-second intervals until done.
  • Once the bread is done, combine the ingredients to make the French toast batter. Mix to combine the eggs, heavy cream, cinnamon, and salt.
  • Slice the mug bread into pieces and dip into the batter. Make sure to get batter on both sides, liberally coating.
  • Add butter to a pa over medium heat. Once butter is melted and bubbling, add french toast pieces and fry on each side until browned, about 1-2 minutes per side.
  • Serve while hot, drizzling sugar-free maple syrup over the top. Enjoy!
